Amy Lee/Evanescence: Family Justice Is Served.

by MIKE D.W

Amy Lee, EVThreads,Draft Family Justice Bill,John Hemming,Evanescence, anonymous, links,Last Saturday I posted an article about Arkansas rock chic Amy Lee and her band Evanescence. I posted how they had found themselves targets for that merry group of international hackers Anonymous.

Anonymous had heard about Lib Dem MP John Hemming tabling a petition to the House of Commons against cyber bullying.

When Anonymous also heard that Amy Lee had been using the treat of legal action to hide evidence of paedophile material and possible sexual predators connected with the band’s official chat board (together with her culpability in attempts to procure the suicide of a teenage girl) they decided to kick Amy’s ass clean off the internet. Amy’s UK tour, scheduled for November this year was placed at the top of the Anonymous threat list.

Well you know how those computer geeks are, within a few hours of hearing from Anonymous EVThreads.com had disappeared from the internet. The site now re-directs to the bands Facebook page, which I understand has received over 15 million likes.

And here’s an update for you on those legal threats perpetrated by Amy Lee’s UK lawyers, Shillings who duct-taped a STFU contract over the mouth of a fan who had initially advised Amy of illegal activities connected with the site but when ignored he wanted to inform the authorities.

John Hemming MP has practically gone and added Amy’s name to his draft Family Justice Billwhich is a new law to protect and empower children/vulnerable people under section 8 the proposed Bill.

Essentially the Bill contains provisions that will limit the power of super-injunctions. In clause (8)(2), (which I heard is nicknamed ‘the Amy Lee clause’) the Bill makes it an offence for anyone to threaten a person or entity, legally or otherwise, should they wish to report a suspected crime or wrongdoing.

The Bill is currently published in a purposive form but the substantive draft is likely to draw heavily on the US Federal Obstruction of Justice Statute
